Ararat and Armenian Genocide Memorial Painted by Children Upset Pashinyan
“I wanted to ask the children about it, but didn’t,” the prime minister said. “I just took photos of the paintings and returned to Yerevan. I invited a group of intellectuals and asked them why children aren’t painting their own environment. You look out the window and see the magnificent mountains and forests of Berd. Yet we detach our children from their real surroundings and place them in another reality — one where they chase ideals, even though their environment is the ideal.”
