There is a growing perception that, under the banner of “diversification,” a gradual policy is unfolding to reduce Russia’s role in key sectors of Armenian statehood.
A fact worth recording: since 2018, the first defeat of Nikol Pashinyan in his struggle against the Armenians occurred in the processes initiated against the Church.
One does need to see through a brick wall to understand that Mikael Minasyan cannot take part in processes beneficial to Armenia if they run counter to Western interests. Otherwise, his assets would be sanctioned, and he himself deported, at best.

Just as the collapse of the Soviet Union began with Gorbachev’s reforms — though formally dated to 1991 — Armenia’s process of Turkization, began in 2008.
Ultimately, “Real Armenia” is neither our Republic nor our fatherland. It is an artificial construct, devoid of history, roots, and humanity. Such “realness” threatens not only the cultural and spiritual fabric of the people but the very foundations of statehood.
The CEPA signed by Serzh Sargsyan in 2017 is portrayed as an economic agreement, yet it is argued to be a strategic instrument that shapes Armenia’s long-term energy and political orientation, with the ultimate objective of pushing Russia out of the region and leaving it to Turkey.
In recent days, Armenia’s political agenda has centered on the visit of U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance. The authorities have presented the visit as a milestone event, emphasizing the prospects for deepening Armenian-American relations.
