Politik.am: Pashinyan Received a “Green Light” from the Vatican amid Aliyev’s New Demands
In an interview on Politik.am’s YouTube channel, Boris Murazi and expert Karen Machkalyan discussed recent developments concerning Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s anti-church policy and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s new demands.
In particular, they drew attention to Aliyev’s statement claiming that there was no “Sevan” toponym on the maps of the Russian Empire, as well as to the reaction of the Armenian authorities, who interpreted Aliyev’s words as a message intended for his domestic audience and not as containing territorial claims against Armenia.
