Levon Zurabyan, Vice Chairman of the Armenian National Congress, has responded to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s recent invitation to hold public debates.

In a post on his social media account, Zurabyan called on the Prime Minister to release the 2019 peace proposals from the OSCE Minsk Group —specifically, the documents dated April and June 2019, which have never been made public and were previously withheld under the pretext of state secrecy.

“Publish the 2019 document, and no debates will be needed,” Zurabyan wrote. “The moment you release it, your appetite for debating will vanish forever.”

He also pointed to Pashinyan’s statements about a long-term strategy aimed at “reconciliation with Azerbaijan and dialogue with Turkey,” accusing the Prime Minister of having planned the downfall of Artsakh from the outset.

“It turns out that you envisioned the destruction and defeat of Artsakh from the very beginning for the sake of that ‘higher’ goal,” Zurabyan added.
