In cases involving recruited agents and unrefuted facts, a simple handwriting analysis would be enough to resolve the matter.
“In one of his video addresses, former Armenian Ambassador to the Vatican Mikayel Minasyan accused Parliament Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan of high treason, claiming that the second-highest-ranking official in the country is an agent of the Turkish special services.
Specifically, in his video titled "Requiem 8: Diaspora and Genocide – Facts about a Turkish Spy and a High-Ranking NSS Agent," Minasyan discussed the construction of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute and the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex, stating that if Armenia made efforts to gain recognition of the Genocide, the enemy country would logically take countermeasures.
"The Turkish special services began working in that direction. This story goes back to 2005, when a very promising and ambitious young man - with a troubled mind and a dark soul - appeared in the United States, where he began studying the process of U.S. recognition of the Armenian Genocide. He came to the attention of the Turkish special services. Two people met: a Turkish coordinator and the 'promising' young man. He sold his soul to the enemy and agreed to provide the Turks with confidential information about everything happening at the Institute, the ongoing work, and other related matters.
"After some time, the same young man came to the attention of the Armenian National Security Service. They became aware of his contacts with Turkey and summoned him to the NSS, presenting relevant evidence and facts. Faced with the threat of imprisonment for high treason, he was offered a deal: to work as a double agent and report to the NSS everything he was telling the Turks," the former ambassador said.
According to Minasyan, “that young man began to cooperate with Nikol Pashinyan at the request of Turkey.”
"Time passed, and at Turkey’s request, that young man began cooperating with Nikol Pashinyan and eventually became one of the key figures in his team. Then, the Turks and Azerbaijanis orchestrated a coup d’état in Armenia, and that misfit, murderer, and traitor became prime minister - and remains in that position to this day. Meanwhile, our ‘hero’ rose to become the Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia. Yes, the young man I’m talking about is Ararat Mirzoyan," Minasyan said.
To support his words, Mikayel Minasyan presented a handwritten letter by Ararat Mirzoyan, dated 2007. According to Minasyan, the letter contained his written consent to cooperate with the National Security Service.
"That letter proves that our country’s second-highest-ranking official is, like many others, an agent. How despicable must one be to collaborate with the very country that committed the Genocide -especially as a specialist in genocide studies? How disgraceful must one be to reveal his country’s secrets to Turkey? And how much of a ‘schmuck’ must one be to report to the Armenian NSS about his own friends after every meeting with them?” Minasyan said in the video.
He stated that a process of lustration is necessary and that all agents must be held accountable.
“Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Ararat Mirzoyan (currently serving as Foreign Minister) responded to the statement by Mikayel Minasyan, former Ambassador of Armenia to the Vatican, writing: ‘Mikayel Minasyan’s regular bullshit will receive an appropriate legal assessment. Minasyan must be held accountable for spreading false information,’ Mirzoyan posted on his Facebook page.”
In response, former Ambassador Mikayel Minasyan proposed submitting the handwriting of Parliamentary Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan for expert analysis and interrogating him about the circumstances under which he became an agent of the Armenian NSS. “If he comes up with more nonsense, the reply will follow immediately,” Minasyan wrote.
