Tigran Abrahamyan: During the War, the Army Units Were Literally Disbanded

,

November 11, 2025. Telegram Channel “Aniv Armenia” quotes Tigran Abrahamyan, MP from “I Have Honor” Alliance:

“During the war, army units were literally dismantled: one battalion was sent south, another to the north; the air-defense subunit of the brigade was deployed in the central direction, while the anti-tank battery was sent elsewhere, and so on.

A brigade is the most crucial structural link in the armed forces. It can remain combat-effective only when all its subunits - from air defense to intelligence - are intact and operational.

When individual components fail and no replacements are provided, the brigade’s ability to carry out assigned missions declines sharply.

Throughout the 44-day war, not only were reserve forces unable to fully engage in battle, but even their individual units were split up and dispatched to different parts of the front line.

In a single war, we suffered losses equivalent to three or four wars. Those primarily responsible for such failures not only remain free, but continue to display inexplicable self-confidence and provocative behavior.”
