Shameful Mission: Head of Armenia’s NSS "Commemorates" Tragic Anniversary by Visiting the Perpetrators
23.09.2025. Telegram Channel Tsitsak [arm.Ծիծակ] reports::
“Three days. That’s how long Andranik Simonyan, the head of Armenia’s National Security Service (NSS), spent in Baku. These were the very same three days of national mourning – marking the second tragic anniversary of Azerbaijan’s aggression against Artsakh and the start of the great Exodus.
Officially, it was a conference. Unofficially, it was a cynical betrayal – a slap in the face of the Armenian people. While the nation mourned, a top official chose to flatter the Azerbaijani dictator by attending his propaganda show.
The most outrageous part? Simonyan remained completely silent about the Armenian captives held in Baku. Over 23 Armenians have endured years of torture in Azerbaijani prisons – yet the head of the NSS didn’t even try to visit them. He returned with empty hands and an empty soul. No prisoner was freed. Not a single word of support was uttered. Just the deafening silence of a security service too ashamed to admit its betrayal.
This isn’t just negligence – it’s the deliberate policy of Pashinyan’s regime: to serve Aliyev’s interests instead of protecting our own people. To take part in the humiliation of Armenians on days of national grief, instead of fighting for the release of our prisoners of war.
Their hollow claims about “ongoing efforts” to free the captives collapse under the weight of reality. When there was a real opportunity to act, they didn’t even lift a finger. To this regime, Armenian lives are nothing more than bargaining chips in their dirty political games.
Simonyan’s visit to Baku is proof: this leadership has neither dignity nor conscience. They have crossed every moral boundary, betraying the memory of the victims of the Artsakh tragedy. As long as such people remain in power, the Armenian people are condemned to further humiliation.”
