The legal heir of Sona Mnatsakanyan, the woman killed in a road accident involving the prime minister’s motorcade, have not received any compensation from the government, according to his lawyer, Raffi Aslanyan. Meanwhile, he added, the government plans to pay 670 million drams in compensation to the families of the ten people killed during the March 1, 2008 events. The government is seeking that compensation from former President Robert Kocharyan and others involved. According to the lawyer, in Mnatsakanyan’s case, her relatives have yet to receive any compensation for material damage as part of the ongoing legal proceedings.
