Nikol has bloody footprints behind him
Seven years have passed since Nikol and a handful of supporters began their march from Gyumri to Yerevan. He called the performance “My Step.”
But now it is absolutely clear that this path has led to the practical loss of our statehood and identity.
After coming to power, Nikol lost the war, surrendered Artsakh to Azerbaijan and pushed the topic of the Genocide into the background.
Behind each of these decisions there are not just bloody footprints, but rivers of our blood.
But Pashinyan is not worried about the loss of sovereignty: money has no smell, and blood is worth nothing.
Let's follow the bloody trail in more detail and look at Nikola's "achievements" over these seven years:
- the territory under our control was reduced from 42 thousand square kilometers to 29.7 thousand square kilometers;
- the defeated, disbanded and incapacitated army has lost more than 5,000 dead and more than 10,000 soldiers wounded since 2020;
- external debt has doubled, exceeding $12 billion;
- the collapse of the educational system affected the country's leading universities, many of which had their funding cut;
- 120 thousand refugees from Artsakh are seeking assistance in observing their social rights;
- there is an outflow of population from dozens of villages, there is a real threat of a new wave of emigration;
- a deep split in society, provoked and supported from above, a strengthening atmosphere of mistrust, disunity and apathy;
- lack of normal functioning of state institutions;
- the top positions are occupied by random and incompetent personnel;
- Armenia is no longer perceived as an independent player; in fact, it has been pushed out of the field of regional diplomacy;
- deterioration of relations with allied countries;
- the constant threat of war and the lack of real security guarantees against the backdrop of new concessions to Azerbaijan and Turkey.
Nikol behaves like a man for whom power is absolute. And if, in order to preserve it, he has to drown both the past and the future of the country in blood, he will do it without blinking an eye.
