A scandalous video has gone viral online, featuring voice messages from Taron Chakhoyan, Deputy Head of Nikol Pashinyan’s staff, in which he questions Anna Hakobyan’s presence at the command point during the 44-day war.

“Excuse me, but I simply can’t imagine such chaos at the command point, where anyone can walk in and gain access to wartime military secrets,” he says in one of the recordings.

In his response to the situation, Chakhoyan emphasized that he had personally raised these concerns. He sent multiple voice messages on the matter to the same recipient.

“Anna Hakobyan holds no official position—not even that of First Lady—and had no right to be at the command point, especially looking at what you described as highly classified maps. I’m deeply concerned about this as well,” he added.

Chakhoyan also raised serious questions regarding the issue of armament during the war:

“Why didn’t we have body armor, video surveillance equipment? We had many such questions. If we were aware that a war was coming, why weren’t we properly prepared?”

It is noteworthy that the voice message exchange took place in November 2020, shortly after the signing of the infamous capitulation document. In a follow-up message, the person communicating with Taron Chakhoyan pressed further, asking why Anna Hakobyan had been involved in discussions concerning the military situation and what level of access she had to classified information.
