
Nikol Pashinyan: “We are closing the Karabakh issue, and this means that there is no longer a need for the OSCE Minsk Group.”
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that Armenia is ready to sign a peace agreement with Azerbaijan and simultaneously bring the OSCE Minsk Group’s mission to an end. He made the announcement during a speech in Parliament, according to WWW.KP.RU.

“What did our men die for? They fell in battle to prevent Aliyev from declaring that the Karabakh conflict is resolved,” Nikol Pashinyan said three months before the 2021 parliamentary elections.
Yet on April 15, 2025, Pashinyan stated: “We are closing the Karabakh issue, and this means there is no longer a need for the OSCE Minsk Group.”
