For example, for some, the handover of Tigranashen could be a red line.”

At first glance, such statements appear to signal political flexibility and a willingness to seek allies even within the ruling party. In reality, however, Meloyan’s remarks raise more questions than they answer.

First, the experience of recent years suggests that a shift of Civil Contract members to the opposition is far less likely than the reverse. Administrative resources, control over the state apparatus, and the political practices associated with Nikol Pashinyan indicate that the authorities have far greater capacity to attract individual MPs and political figures from opposition parties. As a result, the assumption that representatives of the ruling party may have “red lines” is more a matter of wishful thinking than a plausible political scenario.

Another aspect of Meloyan’s comments regarding future alliances in parliament is that they implicitly suggest the Strong Armenia Party already expects to take up parliamentary mandates and participate in the parliament’s work.

This inevitably raises the question of political responsibility. When opposition forces openly discuss plans for parliamentary cooperation after the elections, they signal their readiness to accept the election results and take their seats in parliament, regardless of any previous criticisms of the electoral process.

At the same time, elections have been marked by allegations of widespread use of administrative resources, manipulation, and fraud. Against this backdrop, Gohar Meloyan’s remarks carry broader political implications than may be apparent at first glance. They suggest that Strong Armenia is prepared to become part of a future parliamentary configuration, which would effectively mean accepting the rules of the game established by the ruling party, as well as the legitimacy of Nikol Pashinyan’s continued government.

Рассуждения о будущих союзах внутри парламента фактически означают, что партия «Сильная Армения» уже рассматривает вариант получения депутатских мандатов и участия в работе нового парламента.

[157

post-8136","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news
["GET
