Ghukasyan is convinced that the then Minister of Internal Affairs, Vladimir Gasparyan, was fully capable of suppressing any unrest at an early stage. According to him, Gasparyan could have organized the disappearance of Pashinyan\u2019s associates marching alongside him, including figures such as Avinyan and Harutyunyan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Therefore, based on these circumstances, it is difficult to assume that the \u201cvelvet revolution\u201d was solely Pashinyan\u2019s own initiative.
