All without an exception.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div class='avia-iframe-wrap'><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\u0546\u056b\u056f\u0578\u056c \u0553\u0561\u0577\u056b\u0576\u0575\u0561\u0576\u056b \u056e\u0580\u0561\u0563\u0580\u0561\u0575\u056b\u0576 \u0565\u056c\u0578\u0582\u0575\u0569\u0568\u2024 \u0585\u0580 3-\u0580\u0564\" width=\"1500\" height=\"844\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/zqzmpPvXtJI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>Having secured mass support during the \u201cVelvet Revolution\u201d and become prime minister, Pashinyan quickly abandoned those commitments. A telling example came on March 25, 2020, when MP Tigran Urikhanyan proposed measures to relieve borrowers during the COVID-19 lockdown:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cAdopt a decision, so that the people know that if they fail to pay for the service of their loans, there will be a decision for them. For instance, freezing of the accrued interests or any other decision,\u201d Urikhanyan proposed.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Rather than endorse relief, Pashinyan -who once vowed to erase penalties and protect indebted citizens - replied with scorn and sarcasm, rejecting the idea of broad debt relief or benefits during the lockdown of 2020:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI will be direct. How do you\u2026 Let\u2019s exempt them from taxes, borrowings, let\u2019s distribute them food, let\u2019s not take payments for utilities. Are you serious?<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Let\u2019s make a legislative initiative and distribute 10,000 USD to every citizen of Armenia, in some cases by confiscating the property. Of course, we will do that! Go on! Propose a bill, make a consensus in the parliament, distribute 10,000, no, 50,000 to everyone. Look at them! They come here and demand to \u2018except taxes, loans\u2026 Are you kidding? I have got the impression that you are the one to divide the people. Go and distribute the wealth of your entourage.
