These individuals and their close associates publicly revealed details regarding strategic and operational plans of the armed forces, the preparation and execution of military operations, troop deployments and mobilization plans, combat capabilities, mobilization reserves, the development of armaments and military equipment, as well as their tactical and technical characteristics and operational potential.\nIn addition, they disclosed ongoing military actions and the quantities of food supplies and other material and technical reserves necessary to ensure the country\u2019s functioning under conditions of external military threat or emergency.\n\nAccording to Article 3 of the Law on State and Official Secrets of the Republic of Armenia, such information is classified as a state secret and must not be disclosed. Under Article 306 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia, unlawful disclosure of a state secret is punishable by up to 4 years of imprisonment. If the disclosed information is used for hostile purposes against the Republic of Armenia, the punishment can reach up to 15 years of imprisonment (Article 299 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia).<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div><div class=\"flex_column av_one_half  flex_column_div av-zero-column-padding first\" style='border-radius:0px; '><section class=\"av_textblock_section\"  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/BlogPosting\" itemprop=\"blogPost\" ><div class='avia_textblock'   itemprop=\"text\" ><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A few months before the 44-day war, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan publicly revealed information concerning the country's military and food security preparedness. At the same time, I have a report in front of me stating that 38 trucks carrying food products arrived in Armenia on March 18, including 18 tons of oil, 220 tons of sugar, 145 tons of wheat, 15 tons of pastry, 20 tons of chickpeas, and also sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, frozen meat, even potatoes, as well as petroleum and diesel.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>\n<div class=\"flex_column av_one_half  flex_column_div av-zero-column-padding first\" style='border-radius:0px; '><section class=\"av_textblock_section\"  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/BlogPosting\" itemprop=\"blogPost\" ><div class='avia_textblock'   itemprop=\"text\" ><p style=\"text-align: justify;\" class=\"translation-block\">On October 8, 2020, shortly after midnight, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made phone calls to various positions along the front line, asking questions that could have involved classified military information. In this context, the soldier who answered the Prime Minister's call demonstrated more caution and responsibility than the Prime Minister himself:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Nikol Pashinyan<\/strong>: \u201cThe 5th defense region?\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Soldier<\/strong>: \u201cI cannot answer that question.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Nikol Pashinyan<\/strong>: \u201cHow is the combat efficiency, man?\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Soldier<\/strong>: \u201cEverything is okay.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Nikol Pashinyan<\/strong>: \u201cWhere are you from?\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" class=\"translation-block\"><strong><span class=\"aNeGP0gI0B9AV8JaHPyH\" data-src-align=\"444:6\">\u0421\u043e\u043b\u0434\u0430\u0442<\/span><\/strong>: \u00ab<span class=\"aNeGP0gI0B9AV8JaHPyH\" data-src-align=\"452:6\">\u0428\u0438\u0440\u0430\u043a\u0441\u043a\u0430\u044f<\/span> <span class=\"aNeGP0gI0B9AV8JaHPyH\" data-src-align=\"459:4\">\u043e\u0431\u043b\u0430\u0441\u0442\u044c.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Nikol Pashinyan<\/strong>: \u201cWho is there in the room with you?\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Soldier<\/strong>: \u201cI can\u2019t tell you that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Nikol Pashinyan<\/strong>: \u201cAnyway, are there any people with you?\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Soldier&lt;\/strong: \u201cI can\u2019t tell you that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Nikol Pashinyan<\/strong>: \u201cI am proud of the fact that you keep combat and military secrets.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" class=\"translation-block\">This exchange clearly indicates that Nikol Pashinyan, during a live call, attempted - deliberately or not - to extract operational military information, possibly as a way to test the soldier\u2019s discretion. Ironically, he ends up acknowledging the soldier\u2019s greater sense of responsibility in protecting military secrecy.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>\n<div class=\"flex_column av_one_half  flex_column_div av-zero-column-padding\" style='border-radius:0px; '><div  class='avia-video avia-video-16-9 avia-video-html5'  itemprop=\"video\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/VideoObject\" ><video class=\"avia_video\"  controls id=\"player_5742_822709038_1359992192\" >\t<source src=\"https:\/\/armtribunal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/pashinjan-v-telefonnom-razgovore-razglashaet-voennuju-tajnu.mp4\" type=\"video\/mp4\" \/><\/video><\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"flex_column av_one_full  flex_column_div av-zero-column-padding first\" style='border-radius:0px; '><section class=\"av_textblock_section\"  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/BlogPosting\" itemprop=\"blogPost\" ><div class='avia_textblock'   itemprop=\"text\" ><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/armtribunal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/voennye-karty.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Telegram Channel \u201c\u054a\u0531\u0547\u054f\u054a\u0531\u0546\u0548\u0552\u0539\u0545\u0548\u0552\u0546 \/ DEFENSE \/ \u041e\u0411\u041e\u0420\u041e\u041d\u0410\u201d reports:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" class=\"translation-block\">On October 4, 2020, when the President of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, awarded the title of \u201cHero of Artsakh\u201d to servicemen and officers of the Defense Army, the \u201cArmy Counteroffensive Plan\u201d and the \u201cDefense Operation Plan of the Defense Army\u201d - the latter bearing the signature of the Chief of the General Staff of Armenia\u2019s Armed Forces - were clearly visible on the wall in the video of the awards ceremony.\nIn later videos released by the Command Staff discussing the ongoing clashes, those same plans appear blurred, likely due to their strategic importance. However, in the footage from the October 4 ceremony, including the posts on President Harutyunyan\u2019s official Facebook page, the documents were neither blurred nor concealed in any way.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>\n<div class=\"flex_column av_one_full  flex_column_div av-zero-column-padding first\" style='border-radius:0px; '><div  class='avia-video avia-video-16-9 avia-video-html5'  itemprop=\"video\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/VideoObject\" ><video class=\"avia_video\"  controls id=\"player_5742_1507668693_63894936\" >\t<source src=\"https:\/\/armtribunal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/nagrazhdenie-voennyh.mp4\" type=\"video\/mp4\" \/><\/video><\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"flex_column av_one_full  flex_column_div av-zero-column-padding first\" style='border-radius:0px; '><section class=\"av_textblock_section\"  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/BlogPosting\" itemprop=\"blogPost\" ><div class='avia_textblock'   itemprop=\"text\" ><p style=\"text-align: justify;\" class=\"translation-block\">In the midst of the war, on October 7, 2020, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan gave an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rbc.ru\/interview\/politics\/07\/10\/2020\/5f7d7cb09a7947677087231e\" target=\"_self\">interview to RBC<\/a> , during which he disclosed strategic and operational details regarding the armed forces\u2019 plans, preparations, and execution of military operations, as well as the strategic, operational, and mobilizational deployment of troops.\nResponding to a question about whether Azerbaijani reports on their successes at the front corresponded to reality, Pashinyan said:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cConsidering the information received this morning, we can say that the plan of the Karabakh commanders worked - they took tactical steps in the south, left a corridor open, and drew in Azerbaijan\u2019s Military Corps. That Corps is currently taking heavy blows. I believe this will be a turning point in the operation. At this moment, according to my data, the conditions are being created for the final victory of the Karabakh Army.\u201d\n\u201cI say this because the commanders of Karabakh and Armenia had a plan to retreat in the direction of Jabrayil, thereby drawing more Azerbaijani troops into that area. Last night, Azerbaijani forces entered the zone in large numbers, and this morning they were met with a devastating blow. The operation is progressing very successfully,\u201d Pashinyan said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cI say this because the commanders of Karabakh and Armenia had a plan to retreat in the direction of Jabrayil, thereby drawing more Azerbaijani troops into that area. Last night, Azerbaijani forces entered the zone in large numbers, and this morning they were met with a devastating blow. The operation is progressing very successfully,\u201d Pashinyan said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The journalist then asked: \u201cA few days ago, reports emerged that the town of Ganja came under missile attack. Could military operations extend into Azerbaijani territory?\u201d\nIn response, the Prime Minister of Armenia stated:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cIf today\u2019s operation concludes the way it began - and I think that\u2019s quite possible - then after such success, the Karabakh Army won\u2019t sit idly by while Azerbaijani forces regroup. I believe that, if they succeed today, they will try to build on that momentum and achieve further gains.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cIf today\u2019s operation concludes the way it began - and I think that\u2019s quite possible - then after such success, the Karabakh Army won\u2019t sit idly by while Azerbaijani forces regroup. I believe that, if they succeed today, they will try to build on that momentum and achieve further gains.\u201d\nThus, at the very moment when military operations were underway on the southern frontline, Nikol Pashinyan publicly disclosed their details. It cannot be ruled out that the failures of these operations, particularly the counteroffensives, were the result of military secrets being made public, either through negligence or deliberate action, by the political and military leaderships of Armenia and Artsakh via social media and mass media.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>\n<div class=\"flex_column av_one_half  flex_column_div av-zero-column-padding first\" style='border-radius:0px; '><section class=\"av_textblock_section\"  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/BlogPosting\" itemprop=\"blogPost\" ><div class='avia_textblock'   itemprop=\"text\" ><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Following the 44-day war, on May 5, 2021, during a speech in the National Assembly of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan publicly revealed the scale and types of fortifications constructed between 2018 and 2020.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">\u201cThere are confidential elements, but I believe it is necessary to disclose them,\u201d he said. \u201cBetween 2018 and 2020, the number of fortifications increased by 1.8 times, soldier accommodations by 2.7 times, and earth walls by 5.9 times. She said \u2018okay,\u2019 waited for about 20 minutes, and then left.
