Stepan Danielyan, a political scientist and member of the \u201cMother Armenia\u201d Initiative Group, was recently a guest on 24TV\u2019s Interview with Hermine Mikaelyan. During the conversation, he expressed the view that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, in his comments to journalists, effectively accused the Armenian authorities of betraying Artsakh and surrendering it. Notably, Armenia\u2019s Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan did not refute Lavrov\u2019s claims.

\u201cSergey Lavrov said something terrible - he accused Armenia\u2019s leadership of betrayal,\u201d Danielyan noted. \u201cAccording to Lavrov, Armenia was offered an interim solution for Nagorno-Karabakh multiple times. Specifically, five regions were proposed, two were to receive interim status, and the final resolution was to be deferred to future generations. But the Armenian authorities rejected that proposal. Ararat Mirzoyan didn\u2019t deny it, given that the U.S. and France were also involved in the process, it would be impossible to lie at that level,\u201d Danielyan said.
